Yonder Mountain String Band will perform some music and share some of their Strings & Sol memories during a virtual event hosted by the destination event’s Facebook page this week, the progressive bluegrass group confirmed on Monday.

The virtual hangout/performance is scheduled to take place on Thursday (August 14th) at 7 p.m. MT, when the Colorado-based outfit will discuss memories from years past at the annual destination event, which sadly won’t return in 2020 due to COVID-19. Last year’s Strings & Sol featured performances from YMSB along with Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, and more.

Since the live events industry shutdown in March, members of Yonder Mountain String Band have hosted virtual performances from their respective homes. The band made national headlines earlier this summer when they performed at an empty Red Rocks Amphitheater in June without the presence of fans. Prior to that, YMSB had hosted their own drive-in concert event at the Terry Bison Ranch in Cheyenne, WY back on June 21st.

Fans should head to Strings & Sol’s Facebook page on Thursday night at 7 p.m. to watch the virtual hang with YMSB.
