On Thursday, November 6th at Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn, EarthCry and Desert Dwellers will put on a show that is sure to bring you to a higher level of consciousness, and definitely encourage you to dance to some epic downtempo and ethereal beats. Tickets are currently $10, and can be purchased at this link. Tickets will be $15 day of show.

If you aren’t familiar with EarthCry, it is the side project of Papadosio’s Anthony Thogmartin. Thogmartin incorporates heart, mind, body, and Earth into his music, while using ancient solfeggio scale tones that are known to heal and aid the human condition. Certainly an interesting concept, take the opportunity to listen to EarthCry in a live setting, surrounded by other life forces, and you just might be surprised at what you will discover (and enjoy). EarthCry’s debut album Hear the Earth, Heal Yourself ∞ Heal the Earth, Hear Yourself is an incredible piece of ethereal music that is sure to take you on a journey.

EarthCry will be joined by Desert Dwellers at Cameo. Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe make up this prolific downtempo act, which hails from Southern California. Desert Dwellers concentrate on combining groove with serenity, blend deep bass with earthy percussion, and cross-culture intstrumentation with etheric voices in creating music for both the mind and body. With over a dozen albums under their belt, and a plethora of groundbreaking live performances at festivals such as Lightning in a Bottle, Symbiosis, Shambhala, Envision, EarthDance, and countless others, Desert Dwellers put on a show that, simply put, is one that you will not want to miss.
