The final Grateful Dead Fare Thee Well run this past weekend was an incredibly powerful and emotional experience. Martin — flocked to Chicago to see one of the most influential bands in music history come together for one last time to celebrate their long, strange trip of 50 years.

Grateful Dead Conclude Anniversary Celebration With Emotional ‘Fare Thee Well’

Fare Thee Well and thank you to the band as well as Trey Anastasio, we are eternally grateful. A special shoutout to Pete Shapiro as well for putting on one of the most important, well-run and properly produced large scale events in music history.

Prominent concert photographer Jay Blakesberg, who has been shooting the band since 1978, was of course there to capture the magic, along with Chad Smith and Jason Kaczorowski. Check out some of the once-in-a-lifetime moments.
