Nik Greeley & The Operators have released a brand new video for their blues-rocking new single “Stars”. The track is the first song in a series of singles and videos leading up to the release of their new EP coming this Spring 2017. The Operators feature Philly’s own Swift Technique “The ST’s” horn section, who recently sat in with Vulfpeck at The Electric Factory, along with Zach LoPresti and Sam Gutman of prog-jam up-and-comers Out of the Beardspace. Together, and behind the musical maestro Nik Greeley himself, is a smooth-grooving collective that fully avoids staying in any one genre.

This new track “Stars” fully displays their diverse intentions with a lyrically-stirring, head-swaying ballad. The video follows Greeley through a bedroom conversation with the self, and features the full band backing the character’s sleepless night. “It’s an ode to the late night thinkers & dwellers. Those of us who tend to stay up late into the evening, watching bad TV and questioning our existence and the world around us, while also believing the universe has something greater for us,” explains Greeley. Live For Live Music is stoked to premiere the new music video, which you can watch exclusively below:

You can download the track for free via Bandcamp or check out NG & The Operators in Philly on Wednesday November 16th for their release show with Darla (Release Show) and Roz and the Rice Cakes. If ever there was a chance to see them live, now is it. The band’s power is unstoppable in delivering juicy tunes, dance moves, and good vibes all around.Â
