It’s a good time to be Elephant Revival. With their new album Petals on the charts, their first-time headlining show at Red Rocks coming up this Sunday and an ever-growing fan base, the band is seeing years of hard work pay off in spectacular style. On tour last month to promote their newest release, Elephant Revival gave their Portland, Oregon fans a night to remember by delivering a stunning show at the Wonder Ballroom on April 19th. Playing a wide range of songs from throughout their catalog, including several selections from their new release, the band showed off their amazingly powerful mixture of restraint and abandon.

Our own Rex Thomson was on hand to film the evening’s events, and what a spectacular night to record for posterity!  The sold out crowd was entranced by the band and their special guests, including members of show opener Mandolin Orange and even the band’s tour bus driver on drums for one tune. Between multi-instrumentalists Bonnie Paine and Charlie Rose, fiddler Bridget Law, guitarist Daniel Rodriguez and bassist Dango Rose, Elephant Revival has shown themselves to be more than capable of creating some truly magical music.
