Music industry insiders are buzzing over rumors of a new major music festival in Arizona called the True Music Festival. The festival promises to be the state’s largest ever multigenre festival and will be held in the winter of 2013.
According to our sources, the festival will be located just minutes from Arizona State University, OldTown Scottsdale, and Metro Phoenix, at a highly reputable venue. Arizona has been hungry for a major festival for some time now, and with the state’s college population well over 200,000+ students, and a hip surrounding population well in the millions, we’re amazed it hasn’t been done on this kind of level before.
While festival promoters have been very secretive, rumors have been swirling that the headliners are some of the biggest names in music. Our sources also tell us there is a tremendous amount of capital being spent in creating this venture. Their Facebook Page and Twitter Page have been equally cagey but rumored date/lineup announcements are reported to be released within weeks. They’re also allowing potential attendees first access to lineup updates via a sign up for their newsletter on the Event Website.
