This past weekend, superstar DJ trio Above and Beyond hit Los Angeles’ Greek Theater for a special acoustic set, for the first ever performance in the US. While many of LA’s celebrities came out on Saturday night to see the show, DJ/Producer Skrillex was so impressed, he came back the next night to join the trio on stage. Brandishing a guitar, the dubstep superstar, who was formerly the lead singer of From First To Last, led the band through a rendition of Above and Beyond’s ‘Black Room Boy’.

Jono, Tony, and Paavo of Above and Beyond were joined by a full string quartet, harp, brass, percussion, and vocalists Zoe Johnson, Alex Vargas, and Annie Drury. The makeshift band ran through Above and Beyond’s biggest hits, arranged by musical director and frequent collaborator Bob Bradley.
