Talk about a power pairing! Food and travel connoisseur Anthony Bourdain sat down with Questlove over chicken and waffles at Miami hotspot Yardbird for a piece on Bourdain’s Parts Unknown. The two talk about what they know best: food, and music.

“Every time I check in on Instagram you’re eating with one of my culinary heroes,” gushes Bourdain. “You’ve eaten with Jiro…he seems to like you a lot better than me!”

And then came the highest of accolades: “The old joke was that James Brown was the hardest working man in show business. You make him look lazy!”

“If we’re counting technically I have 16 jobs right now,” Questlove responds.

Then the conversation switched to Questlove’s primary forte. “I consider the sound of Miami to be the beginning of really great dance music.”
