Music fans were saddened when, in June of 2015, the Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival ended their eight-year run at the Spirit of Suwannee Park in Live Oak, FL. The festival was beloved among funk fans everywhere, bringing together a community of music lovers to a serene environment full of glorious jams.
Fortunately, the festival’s organizers have announced plans to relocate, moving themselves to a city known for funky super jams. Coming to New Orleans, LA from September 30-October 1st, the Bear Creek Bayou Music Festival promises to pick up where the former fest left off. Bear Creek Bayou will be held at Mardi Gras World for two great days, with a funk-based lineup that will incorporate elements of electronica, rock, world, roots and more influences.
