Big Gigantic just sold out their second hometown ‘Rowdytown’ show at Red Rocks, they have two huge shows in New York City on New Years, and they’re set to release a new album in the beginning of 2014. In anticipation, the livetronica duo have released their first track from the album, ‘Love Letters’, featuring former Brazilian Girls singer Sabina Sciubba.
In contrast to the duo’s usual big, bass-fueled beats, ‘Love Letters’ has a laid back disco-house vibe, highlighting Sciubba’s smooth vocals. In an interview with Billboard, saxophonist Dominic Lalli commented,
“The rest of the album will probably stay a little more true to our style…But we’re always trying to develop our sound so we’ve got some surprises in store for this one. [We’ve got] crushing bass, hard-hitting drums and tons of saxophone melodies that will make you want to sing out loud.”
