In an exclusive interview with Metal Hammer, the legendary Ozzy Osbourne has announced his intention to record one final album with Black Sabbath in 2015, and for the band to undertake one final extended tour. The album, which would be Sabbath’s twentieth LP, would be a followup to the band’s 13, a highly successful 2013 release.

Osbourne said that he was inspired by the fact that “the whole Sabbath experience this time around was great.” Since they had so much fun, Osbourne said, “we’re going to do one more album, and a final tour. Once the dust settled after the last tour we started discussing the idea, because we were getting asked about it all the time.”

The band has no music written for the new album, but plans to begin sessions in early 2015. Producer Rick Rubin, who worked on 13, will be joining Sabbath for their final album as well. The current Sabbath lineup contains three of the band’s four original members, with Osbourne, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler.
