Bob Dylan Will Capture His 1966 Live Performances With A New, 36-Disc Box Set

Fans of the legendary Bob Dylan will certainly be excited, as the singer/songwriter will open up his vaults and release an incredible collection of recordings from 1966. Titled Bob Dylan: The 1966 Live Recordings, the collection features every known recording from Dylan’s 1966 tour, including soundboards, TV tapes, and a selection of audience recordings as well.

“While doing the archival research for The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12 […] we were continually struck by how great his 1966 live recordings really are,” Legacy Recordings president Adam Block said in a statement. “The intensity of Bob’s live performances and his fantastic delivery of these songs in concert add another insightful component in understanding and appreciating the musical revolution Bob Dylan ignited some 50 years ago.”

The new 36 disc box set is due out on November 11th, and a full listing of each disc can be viewed below. For fans who don’t want the full set, Dylan’s performance at the Royal Albert Hall will be released separately in December.
