Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell to Release Solo Album

Chris Cornell, frontman for Seattle rock band Soundgarden, has announced the release of a brand new solo album. Called Higher Truth, Cornell will release the album come September, and support it with a tour of New Zealand and Australia.

This will be Cornell’s fourth studio album and the first since 2011. Cornell is also preparing to perform with Soundgarden at Ontario’s Big Music Fest this July.
