Conspirator – Gramercy Theatre – Thursday, April 4th

Conspirator has been tearing through the nation, hot off the heels of their latest release, Unleashed, and will be making their triumphant return to New York City on Thursday, April 4th at the Gramercy Theatre.  Since bringing in powerhouse drummer KJ Sawka full-time to complete the lineup last year, bassist Mark Brownstein and keyboardist Aron Magner of the Disco Biscuits, along with guitarist Chris Michetti of RAQ, have found the missing piece that has added a whole new dimension to the Conspirator sound.

Unleashed (which came out on Jan. 29th) marks the first release with the current lineup, and sees the band bringing in, at times, a much harder, dub sound to the table.  Their sound has evolved since their first release The Key (2005), and continues in the fashion of their latest live album Unlocked: Live from The Georgia Theatre Released.  You can purchase Unleashed here.

After a solid Winter tour in which they played several dates with Break Science, Conspirator is hitting on all cylinders and will be bringing the heat back to the East Coast after several West Coast dates.  Cosmic Dust Bunnies will be providing opening support.  CDB are a very unique electronic/jam style band that layer in influences from Reggae, Dub, Funk, Rock, Pop, and everything between.  You will not want to miss this show, as it will a throwdown of epic proportions….NYC style!
