Was I Dreaming, Or Was There A Daft Punk Commercial During SNL Last Night?

Shit just got real. Last night during Saturday Night Live, a brief fifteen second commercial aired that revealed a glittery Daft Punk logo and the image featured above that was recently put on the duo’s official website. It appears that Daft Punk might actually be coming back this time.

The quick commercial features what is apparently a snippet of new music, but that’s about it. The legendary robotic producers produced the entire soundtrack to Tron: Legacy in 2010, but their last proper studio album was 2005′s Human After All. Their last proper tour was in 2007, and Daft Punk’s next tour or festival appearance has been rumored to take place essentially every year since then.

Please god. New album. Mega tour. This summer.
