Dave Grohl continues to impress us with his general badass-ness.

Over the past few months, Grohl has performed immediately after breaking his leg, brought a number of emotional and talented fans on stage with him at various stops on tour, Rick Rolled the Westboro Baptist Church, and responded, in Italian, to a thousand fans covering the Foo Fighters in a plea to bring the band to Cessna, Italy.

Foo Fighters Agree To Play Italy After 1,000 Musicians Cover ‘Learn To Fly’

Last night, Grohl started off his show with an incredibly amusing rant that made fun of bands who play short concerts. He said:

“You don’t want one of those little hour and a half long shows do you? You don’t want that shit. All of those new bands that play those little two hour concerts, you don’t want that shit. 2 hours and 15 I don’t think is enough. 2 and a half hours, does that sound okay? That’s not enough is it? Here’s our fucking problem. We’ve been a band for 20 fucking years, we have a lot of fucking songs, and then add my big mouth on top of that, and we’re going to be here all night.”

We’re certainly grateful for all of the Foo Fighters’ music over the last 20 fucking years.
