Live For Live Music is thrilled to announce a massive fall schedule with Dopapod and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. The co-headline tour will feature full sets from both bands, covering most of the eastern half of the country and including stops at Irving Plaza in New York City, The Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, VA, The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC, Terminal West in Atlanta, Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, NC, and more. Throughout the tour, L4LM looks forward to bringing you exclusive content, behind-the-scenes footage, creative feature pieces, video/track releases, and so much more.

While Dopapod and PPPP have certainly shared some stages in their days, it’s always been in brief passing on the road. This will be the bands’ first-ever tour partnership, and we’re expecting some serious jams to come in result. “Pairing up made too much sense not to do!” explains Dopapod vocalist/guitarist Rob Compa. “We’re always crossing paths, whether it be barely missing each other along tour or at festivals. After a while it became clear that we ought to do something cool together. I’m happy that this finally came together.”

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s front man Greg Ormont jokingly adds, “We’ve always wanted to tour with a band whose name is a palindrome but ABBA and Emily’s Sassy Lime are always too busy, so we ended up with Dopapod. Fortunately, they’re great friends and even better musicians, so it should be an epic few months on the road.”

Both groups recently shared the stage at The TLA in Philly, when Dopapod keyboardist Eli Winderman sat in with Pigeons on their original song, “F.U.”. Fan-shot video of the collaboration can be viewed below:
