Fans of classic rock should be very excited to learn that two of the most iconic bands from the 70’s will headline two new music festivals this summer. According to a report from Billboard, The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac will headline “Classic East” and “Classic West”, which will take place at Citi Field and Dodgers Stadium respectively. Organized by industry superpowers Azoff MSG Entertainment, Live Nation, the Oak View Group, and Creative Artists Agency, the aim is to take this bi-coastal festival franchise and turn it into an annual event. Both editions of the festival will take place over two days.

This will mark the first shows from The Eagles since the death of founding member Glenn Frey, and would be the only shows for Fleetwood Mac in 2017. As of now, there are no dates announced for these events, so look out for more information as it becomes available.
