It’s been an exciting week for Gorillaz fans. After officially announcing their new albumHumanz, last Thursday, the band shared four tracks from the release, complete with beautiful animated videos. The next night, the “animated” group performed their new material at a secret show in London, their first in five years. Early this week, they announced that all of the upcoming albums many collaborators (including Mavis Staples, Carly Simon, Grace Jones, De La Soul, Savages’ Jehnny Beth, Pusha T, Danny Brown, Vince Staples, and more) will perform at their Demon Dayz Festival in October.

Now, the stream of good news from the Gorillaz camp continues, as the band has announced their first North American performance in seven years. The Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett-led outfit will perform at Festival d’été de Québec (Quebec City Summer Festival) on Saturday, July 15th.

For more information, or to purchase tickets to the performance, head to the festival’s website.
