After so many months of hinting, Gorillaz have officially announced their new album, Humanz due out April 28th, 2017. The announcement came in the form of a series of Instagram posts, with each post spelling out the name Humanz, along with photos of the guest collaborators that will be featured on the album. The confirmed collaborators, as previously leaked, include Mavis Staples, Carly Simon, Grace Jones, De La Soul, Savages’ Jehnny Beth, Pusha T, Danny Brown, Vince Staples, Kelela, and D.R.A.M. 

In addition to all this, the animated band, led by James Hewlett and Damon Albarn, revealed new character images for 2D, Noodle, Russell, and Murdoc.
