The annual Hangout Music Festival has revealed their 2016 lineup! The beachside festival is slated to return to Gulf Shores, AL from May 20th to 22nd this year, and boasts a stacked lineup, but it’s missing a familiar sight… bands from the jam scene. The Weeknd, Calvin Harris, and Florence + The Machine sit at the top, and there’s plenty to be excited about, but this is certainly a new direction from Hangout.

The full lineup features sets from Alabama Shakes, Lenny Kravitz, Cage The Elephant, Leon Bridges, Jason Isbell, Big Grams (Big Boi + Phantogram), Kurt Vile and the Violators, Run The Jewels, Foals, Moon Taxi, Nahko and Medicine for the People and so many more.

Considering that recent years has seen artists like Trey Anastasio Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews Band, String Cheese Incident and more all perform on the Gulf Shores, this lineup may perplex some of our loyal jam fans.

Regardless, you can check out the full lineup of performing artists below:
