With the absolute devastation and destruction left in Hurricane Harvey‘s path last week in Houston, TX and the surrounding areas, it has become all the more evident that people are in dire need of help. The Boulder Theater, in conjunction with CAN’d Aid Foundation and Oskar Blues Charity, has announced a huge benefit concert this coming Tuesday, Sept. 12th, with a massive lineup of the jam, funk, and bluegrass scene’s finest. CAN’d Aid Foundation will collect all proceeds associated with the event, including ticket sales, bar sales, and any additional fundraising efforts that can be coordinated between now and then to have on-site.

New Orleans icon Anders Osborne, Dave Watts, Joey Porter, Ryan Jalbert, Garrett Sayers, Drew Sayers, Gabriel Mervine and Lyle Divinsky of The Motet, Andy Hall, Chris Pandolfi and Jeremy Garrett of The Infamous Stringdusters, Eddie Roberts of The New Mastersounds, Kevin Donohue, Josh Fairman and Chris Anderson of SunSquabi, One Flew West, and others will join forces to bring a night of music and charity to the Boulder, CO venue to assist those in need any way they can.

The CAN’d Aid Foundation has already canned and shipped nearly 90,000+ cans of clean drinking water, are planning a hands-on work trip to the Houston area in the coming weeks, and have a specific Harvey relief fund set up which has already raised over $10,000 to date.

Sponsorship Director at Oskar Blues Brewery and Executive Director at CAN’d Aid Foundation Diana Ralston explains, “When we saw the massive destruction and unbelievable hardship the folks affected by Hurricane Harvey were experiencing, we knew we had to help. In addition to shipping 220,200 cans of clean drinking water in partnership with Oskar Blues Brewery and Ball Corporation, we are raising funds and recruiting volunteers to join us for on-the-ground rebuilding efforts in Houston on October 1st and 2nd. We got our start as an immediate response to the 2013 floods that devastated much of Colorado’s front range and are hard-wired to help when and where we can.”
