The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards were broadcast last night. The mainstream music showcase featured some of the best and brightest in the game, with Sam Smith winning four awards and Beck taking home album of the year.
Some notable performances throughout the night:
-AC/DC kick off the show with their first performance in nearly four years, playing their new single “Rock or Bust,” followed by the classic “Highway to Hell.”
-Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga sing “Cheek to Cheek” from their new album of duets:
–Jeff Lynne and Electric Light Orchestra play “Evil Woman” and “Mr. Blue Sky,” to the delight of Sir Paul:
-Ed Sheeran gets an all-star band, including Herbie Hancock, Questlove, and John Mayer, for his slow song “Thinking Out Loud.”
-Paul McCartney, Rihanna, and Kanye West perform their new single, “FourFiveSeconds.”
-And speaking of Kanye West, did you see him try to interrupt Beck’s album of the year acceptance speech?
