The Prince tributes keep on coming. After the Purple One’s untimely passing this past April, the music world has been flooded with tributes of all kinds, and it has been incredible to watch the variety in the performers and styles that have paid him their musical respect. Well, fans can add another unique one to the list, as the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra has announced a very special “Music of Prince” special show this fall.

To be performed at Hilbert Circle Theatre on October 14, the show will feature composer and conductor Brent Havens, who created a “symphonic journey” of of Prince classics, including “Purple Rain”, “Kiss”, “When Doves Cry”, “Little Red Corvette” and more.

Havens has previously composed several symphonic tributes to rock legends, such as Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Queen, The Who and more, and he most recently conducted a Tribute to David Bowie this past weekend.
