Jennifer Hartswick Recording at The Barn with Van Ghost; Playing Nectar’s W/ Grippo Funk Band Tomorrow

Jennifer Hartswick, coming off a recent tour with the Trey Anastasio Band, has been posting pictures from Phish’s studio The Barn in Vermont (via her Twitter and Facebook pages), where she is working on some new recordings with her group Van Ghost, which features Michael Harrison Berg, fellow TAB bandmate Natalie Cressman, the Nth Power’s Nick Cassarino, Grant Tye, Chris Gelubda, North Mississippi Allstars bassist Chris Chew, and John Staten.

Hartswick has also announced that she will appear tomorrow night at Nectar’s in Burlington, VT with her former group Grippo Funk Band. Dave Grippo, former TAB and Giant Country Horns member, leads the uber-funk outfit.
