Living Colour is hosting a tribute show for what would have been Jimi Hendrix’s birthday at the City Winery in NYC. The New York native rock band Living Colour will be preforming with special guests on November 12th, 2012 paying respects to the late Guitar God. The band is best known for their song “Cult of Personality” from their debut album Vivid (1988). Jimi Hendrix was born November 27th, 1942 and would be turning 70 years-old this year.
Doors open at 6 pm and the starts at 8 pm. Ticket prices vary from a barstool seat for about $35 to VIP/premier seating for $55 and can be ordered at www.citywinery.com.
