An incredible lineup of musicians are coming to the aid of John Perry Barlow, who was hospitalized in 2015 and is still reeling from health-related issues and expenses. Barlow is best known as the songwriting partner for Bob Weir, providing the lyrics for countless Grateful Dead classics like “Cassidy,” “Black Throated Wind,” “Estimated Prophet” and so many more.

With Barlow in need of assistance, an all-star lineup of musicians are coming to help. Next Monday, October 24th, the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA will be hosting a Barlow benefit concert. Previously announced artists included Bob Weir, Jerry Harrison, Lukas Nelson, Les Claypool, Sean Lennon and Ramblin’ Jack Elliot. The initial announcement also listed “Members of The String Cheese Incident.” Today, we’ve learned those particular members as well as a few artist additions.

According to Jambands, the lineup will include Steve Kimock, Jeff Chimenti, Wally Ingram and Robin Sylvester. The String Cheese Incident members Michael Kang, Michael Travis and Jason Hann will also be on hand for the event, in support for the great John Perry Barlow.

You can find out more information about the benefit here. We’ll leave you with a classic Barlow/Weir composition, as performed by the Grateful Dead, below.
