It seems like Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards doesn’t like anyone these days. First it was The Beatles’ Sgt. Peppers, which he called rubbish, then it was all of hip hop and metal music… now, Richards has turned his sights on the Grateful Dead.
Richards has a cover story interview coming up in the new edition of Billboard, and the group has shared a sneak peek of the conversation. In it, Richards had some unfortunate things to say about the Dead:
“The Grateful Dead is where everybody got it wrong… Just poodling about for hours and hours. Jerry Garcia, boring shit, man. Sorry, Jerry.”
Ouch. Let’s hope the other Grateful Dead members don’t catch wind of Richards’ hateful remarks.
