Eric Clapton’s recent shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall had a unique visitor of sorts earlier this week. Kim Jong-Chul, elder brother of current North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, was spotted attending both of Clapton’s show at the historic UK venue.

While reports were tentative at the first show, May 20th, a BBC News reporter mentioned Jong-Chul’s appearance the following night, saying “He was just like any other fan, but there were officials all around him. They were obviously not Clapton fans, and looked really out of place. But he was having a great time, singing along to all the words.”

This is perhaps the only redeeming quality for the North Korean royal family, but at least they get down to the blues every now and then…
