Lady Gaga will star in the fifth season of the cult series on FX, American Horror Story. Given Gaga’s tendencies for the strange and outlandish, this seems like a perfect fit. 

The horror series maintains a primarily recurring cast but places each season in an entirely different setting with its own unique characters and storyline. Past seasons have taken place in an insane asylum, a New Orleans witch coven, and a circus freak show, for example, starring Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts and a ton of other accomplished actors. The fifth season will take place in a haunted hotel.

American Horror Story: Hotel and will air in October, but no further details have been revealed at this point.
