You might remember a certain live performance from Led Zeppelin that took place in London on April the 1st on 1971; it was recorded and compiled into what is known as ‘Disc Two’ of their BBC Sessions. Yet, when the show was broadcast through British airwaves, the band’s performance of “Communication Breakdown” was excluded. The track clocks in just under five minutes, twice as long as their 1969 Led Zeppelin debut recording.

Now, Led Zeppelin is releasing a newly expanded Complete BBC Sessions on September 16th, as remastered by guitarist Jimmy Page himself. In addition to this long-lost “Communication Breakdown”, the deluxe catalogue will also include a bonus disc of previously unreleased music, unaired recordings of “What Is and What Should Never Be”, “Dazed and Confused”, and a never officially-released track “Sunshine Woman”, as performed in 1969.

You can stream “Communication Breakdown” below, and enjoy the guitar-shredding of master Page himself, as he trails amongst the rocking sounds of Robert Plant and John Bonham.

The compilation is set to release on September 16th, and will be available in CD, vinyl and digital, and it will also come out in a super-deluxe edition with a 48-page book.
