There’s no denying that David Bowie’s influences have been felt across a spectrum of musical styles. One of his funkiest singles, “Fame,” always featured something of an electronic element to it, which certainly served as an inspiration for Austin-based future funk group Resonant Frequency.
These up and comers have put their fresh spin on the Bowie classic, releasing an exciting remix and blends the original “Fame” with some out-of-this-world spacey funk goodness. It’s rare that a remix captures both the elements of old and new so well, but Resonant Frequency has certainly achieved that balance with their new release.
