If you were at last weekend’s Camp Bisco (and hopefully you were) and got the chance to see Lotus‘ late-night performance you probably noticed at the very end things were a little bit off.

Lotus’ set was 12:30am-2:30 am, but at 1:58 am, when the band was in the middle of playing “Middle Road” to a bunch of enthusiastically dancing festival-goers Baauer‘s lighting director pulled the plug on the band’s power. By no means did this stop Lotus from finishing their set though; the resilient group finished up their song by relying on percussion solo to provide a once-in-a-lifetime Lotus experience. After “Middle Road”, Jesse Miller holds up his bass and says, “you guys remember these things right? we call them axes so we can chop away all the bullshit and just play some music.”

Immediately after the incident fans took to social media to explain, complain, or praise what had happened (depending on their stance on the matter), but all-in-all it was definitely an experience that Bisco-attendees will remember.
