Maya Rudolph and The Roots Perform Prince at Brooklyn Bowl (Video)

By Chris Meyer

Last night at Brooklyn Bowl, SNL’s Maya Rudolph performed with her friend Gretchen Lieberum under the moniker “Princess”, their very own Prince cover band, backed by none other than The Roots.  Earlier in the day, the faux supergroup performed “Darling Nikki” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Tonight, Rudolph and Lieberum will once again perform as “Princess” with The Roots at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY.  Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe is schedule to open.  Tickets are available with no fees here.
