Last night, Grateful Dead drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart joined The Disco Biscuits for the second set of their performance at The 9:30 Club in Washington, DC. The set was filled with Dead classics, including “West L.A. Fadeaway,” “Shakedown Street,” and, of course, “Drums.” They closed the show with an encore performance of “I Know You Rider,” with Jeremy Salken of Big Gigantic as well.

The Disco Biscuits will return to the 9:30 club tonight, and Kreutzmann and Hart are already slated to perform with them as guests. This unique pairing was initially intended for a one-off performance at Gathering of the Vibes on Saturday, but it seems Kreutzmann and Hart are eager to perform with the Biscuits.

So eager, in fact, they designed a “Steal Your Biscuits” logo to commemorate the collaboration.
