Umphrey’s McGee has announced their next New York area play, which will include a 2-night run at The Beacon Theatre and a one-night stand at Huntington’s (Long Island) The Paramount. The Beacon run is becoming an annual thing for the Chicago-based rockers, who can very easily be considered one of the hardest working bands in the business.

We all know the sheer majesty that is the Beacon and how special these two shows will be, but the kicker is the Sunday show at one of the most epic new venues built in the area in recent years – The Paramount. Located in Long Island’s Huntington Village (easily accessible by train or car), the 1,555 person capacity venue is an incredible venue. And as we all know, you never want to miss a Sunday show! Put these dates in your calendar now, because it looks like Umphrey’s will be bringing some heat to New York during what is typically a frigid January month.

“Alright New York, it’s on. We’re coming for you with a double at The Beacon Theatre (1/16 & 1/17) plus one at The Paramount (1/18), all three featuring the great Joshua Redman.”
