Throughout the course of their evolution as a band, Papadosio has consistently remained dialed into their sound and true to themselves, putting on shows that bridge the gap between traditional concerts and immersive art. While they may be best categorized as a jamtronica outfit, Papadosio is perpetually in a state of innovation, drawing inspiration from a large breadth of musical genres to make music that is truly their own. This open-mindedness spans to beyond their music as well, with Papadosio emphasizing artistic exploration across the board, as evidenced by their long-standing history of collaborating with visual artists and creating live shows that are a true experience for fans.

We can be sure that Papadosio will bring this attentive eye to their performance when they headline Red Rocks Amphitheatre this summer on Saturday, May 6th. Already, the band has assembled an incredible lineup for the Re:Creation event, which will also feature SunSquabi, Desert Dwellers, Supersillyus, An-Ten-Nae, and Eliot Lipp.

As is the Papadosio way, their performance on the Rocks will feature live visuals by Johnathan Singer and have special guests, the legendary visionary artists Alex and Allyson Grey creating alongside them. Alex and Allyson will be creating and collaborating with the band during their show, as they will be on a riser live painting together. Papadosio will have a live feed set up so that visual aspect of the show and music will flow together seamlessly throughout the course of their set.

This will be Papadosio’s second time headlining Red Rocks, which is often considered to be one of the most magical venues in the world by fans and musicians alike. There is something special about the energy within the sacred space, and Re:Creation and Papadosio are certain to tap into this special energy for the show. Last year, Papadosio’s performance at Red Rocks may have been their most memorable performance to date, and the band is coming into this year’s performance with their sights set on topping that. With the recent release of their newest album, Pattern Integrities, and its subsequent tour, Papadosio is ready to meet and surpass those goals. The band is currently coming off the first leg of the tour for this latest record, giving them some time to fully delve into exploring their newest tracks in a live setting and priming them for their sophomore appearance headlining Red Rocks.

Papadosio’s show at Red Rocks is going to be a night you do not want to miss, as the band continues to explore and celebrate life and invites their fans along for the ride. Papadosio guitarist Anthony Thogmartin has also just announced his solo project, EarthCry, will perform a special pre-party event at Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox on Friday, May 5th. He will be joined by fellow Dosio member Mike Healy and Erothyme for a night full of improvisational electronic music to get fans warmed up for Papadosio’s Red Rocks performance the following night. Tickets for Papadosio’s Re:Creation event at Red Rocks on May 6th are currently on sale and can be purchased here.
