The legendary knight himself, Sir Paul McCartney, took a moment from his performance at Target Field in Minneapolis, MN to pay tribute to the late great musical royalty Prince. With McCartney scheduled to play in Prince’s hometown, fans were certainly hopeful that McCartney would honor Prince, and the Beatle did just that. 

During the performance, McCartney busted out a cover of “Let’s Go Crazy,” the opening track to Prince’s 1984 album Purple Rain. McCartney has shared video footage of the cover below:
