Paul McCartney is planning the re-release of two classic Wings albums, Venus and Mars and Wings At The Speed Of Sound, with a bevy of bonus material on each. In anticipation, the former Beatle is making animated lyric videos for a number of tracks on each album. The first to be released is “Call Me Back Again,” a tune from Venus and Mars that was featured on the popular Wings Across America live album.
The fun video cleverly uses animation to display the lyrics of the song, synchronized to the feel-good song. With images of rotary phones, calendars, newspaper headlines, constellations, and abstract dancing animations, McCartney’s modern interpretation of the tune is nothing but fun. Watch the video below:
