Phish is set to appear and perform on Late Show with David Letterman next Tuesday, June 24th, celebrating the release of their highly anticipated album Fuego, the 12th studio album in the band’s 30 year career. This will be the eighth appearance for the band on the Late Show since their first time in 1994.

Aside from the standard performance on the TV-airing segment, however, Phish will now be performing a full set for Live On Letterman, an online concert series which is webcast for free after the TV taping from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. The set will begin at 8 PM ET on Tuesday and will be available for free casting on CBS.com, as well as on mobile devices through the CBS App. Phish has also announced that they will be giving away tickets to come see the performance live in the theater by way of a Fuego photo contest, asking fans to share a photo interpretation of a song of their choice off the new album by June 20th.

While it is reasonable to guess that they will play a lot of Fuego material, given the circumstance of the appearance, who knows exactly what the band has in store for the set, which apparently run around 45 minutes to an hour in most cases. Whatever they pull out, it’ll be a great taste of Phish to keep our mouths from watering too hard before summer tour begins in just under two weeks.

Phish tour is scheduled to begin on July 1st, with shows from July 3-5 in Saratoga Springs and July 11-13 in New York City. You can catch the Everyone Orchestra Phish pre-party in Saratoga Springs on July 2nd, and a pre-Phish July 4th BBQ with Z3, FiKus, and The Jauntee just minutes from the venue.

And don’t miss our Band of Gypsies after-party on July 13th at BB King’s, featuring the music of Jimi Hendrix as performed by Roosevelt Collier, Jennifer Hartswick, Ron Johnson, and Adam Deitch!
