We’re beyond devastated to report that Todd “Demse” Zullo, the founding drummer of jam band staple The Alchemystics, has passed away following a tragic van accident. Band “family member” Brian “Budzy” White was also killed in the accident.
While details surrounding the accident are scarce at this time, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to help Zullo’s family with medical bills and any other expenses.
The Alchemystics formed in 2003, and have carved a steady fanbase for themselves throughout the past ten years. The band blends reggae, hip-hop, soul, and rock elements to create their identfiable sound. Zullo founded the band alongside bassist Garrett Sawyers, and have brought incredibly talented artists in a continuing effort to produce socially conscious music and art.
