Perhaps even more bizarre than Paul McCartney working with Kanye West, the new mysterious collaboration between Robert Plant and Diplo has us scratching our heads. Diplo has been known to cross into other genres, working with Madonna and Ezra Koenig on various tracks in recent years. However, Plant’s only recent collaboration was with Jack White, seemingly sticking to the rock and roll sound.

However, Diplo recently posted a picture with Plant on Instagram, with the caption “collab coming soon.” Just what would an EDM track with Robert Plant sound like? We have no idea, but considering Plant’s reluctance to rejoin his fellow Led Zeppelin bandmates stemmed from an interest to do new projects, musically, perhaps EDM is Plant’s newest venture.
