Someone Broke Into Fruition’s Van And Stole Mimi Naja’s Mandolin

Portland, OR-based bluegrass band Fruition has been on tour this fall, bringing their joy and music to people far and wide…until last night, when the music stopped.  In a tale all too familiar to traveling musicians, the members of the band returned to their van, only to find a window broken and Mimi Naja‘s priceless mandolin gone.  Though it can be replaced, and she is trying to maintain a zen attitude about her loss, the attachment a musician feels to their instrument is almost impossible to describe.
