2017 is going to be a busy year for Sophistafunk! The band is hitting the ground running with a new album, a national television debut, live music video, and CD release tour dates. With a sound that recalls a mixture of “The Roots” meets “Rage Against The Machine,” the band will release a new album, Real Vibration, on February 14th, 2017.
The album release will be followed by a series of tour dates, in support of the Real Vibration release. They’ll also be making their debut national television appearance in January 2017, though they’re remaining tight-lipped about the details for now.
To get fans ready for the excitement, the band has shared a video of their 10/15/16 performance at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA. Titled “Dab Funk,” expect this killer new jam to appear on the Real Vibration album. You can watch the new video, below.
