Space To Open New Night Club In New York City 2013

Justin Charles

World famous Space Night Club, with its popular outpost Ibiza, has confirmed plans to build a New York City venue in 2013, according to mixmag.net.

Mixmag reports a spokesman for Space Ibiza told them "Yes, we can confirm that it's true. However I cannot give you more information yet. The only information I can give to you is that the opening date will be during 2013."

It is rumored that the venue will be located at 50th Street and 12th Avenue with a capacity that will exceed 13,000. This could incite a major shake up in the New York mega-club scene. Space is known for huge capacities, non-existent curfews, and a huge outdoor terrace. It will be interesting to see whether Space can bring these signature aspects to New York City.
