Stand Up To Cancer Telethon: The Who, Dave Matthews, and more!

The biannual Stand Up To Cancer telethon has announced that The Who and Dave Matthews will be among the musical talent performing at the charity event. Other performers include Jennifer Hudson, Common & Lupe Fiasco, and Ariana Grande. More will be announced in the coming days.

The hourlong telethon is set to air on September 5th, at 8 PM, on 31 different cable and broadcast networks simultaneously. This will also be the first year that the telethon is extended to Canada. All proceeds go to various cancer research efforts.

SU2C has also added a number of celebrities to the telethon, including Jon Hamm, Jennifer Aniston, Kiefer Sutherland, Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, Pierce Brosnan, Rob Lowe, Eric Stonestreet and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

To date, over $260 million has been raised by Stand Up To Cancer. Hopefully that number can be raised!
