Eric Clapton & Friends have dedicated a tribute album to the late J.J. Cale, titled The Breeze, that is set to be released next week. The album features an impressive roster of musical guests, including Tom Petty, Derek Trucks, Willie Nelson and John Mayer.

The album is available to stream now via iTunes Radio, or you can pre-order it here.

In a statement about the album, Clapton said, “I would like people to tap into what JJ Cale did – that’s the point. I’m just the messenger; I’ve always felt that that’s my job. I try to interpret things so that the public at large, or at least the people who listen to what I do, will become intrigued about where I got it from.”
