Following last year’s Lauryn Hill Incident at Electric Forest, the String Cheese Incident have decided to mix it up again this year by playing a 90 minute dubstep set. The band claims they want to expose old school String Cheese Fans to something new that they would really enjoy.

Bill Nershi said of the decision, “We’ve been looking for a fresh idea for this year’s Forest. I was strumming on my guitar up in Boulder, CO looking out at the mountains the other day, when suddenly the idea came to me. I ran inside, tossed my guitar, and started making tracks we could use on Abelton Live!”

“In recent years, I can attribute a lot of my sound to visionaries like Skrillex, Bassnectar, and Datsik,” he continued. “I’m pleased that they have all agreed to sit in on this truly unique set, along with many more surprise guest DJs!”
