With the guys from Umphrey’s McGee taking the night to show their new film, Reel To Real, that band had an early night on their hands. Naturally, two of their members, namely Brendan Bayliss and Kris Myers, sneaked over to the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, CO to jam out with their old friends in the String Cheese Incident.
Cheese has been tearing it up after late, coming in hot with an incredible Hulaween Festival and performance on New Year’s Eve. The band’s first show in 2016 was nothing short of fantastic, opening with “Round The Wheel” and playing favorites like “100 Year Flood,” “Shine,” and “Outside And Inside.” They closed out the first frame with a jammed out “Birdland.”

Set two picked up where the first left off, opening with a big-time “Colliding” and featuring jammed out versions of songs like “Rhythm of the Road,” “Colorado Bluebird Sky,” and more. An exciting “Rivertrance” capped off an incredible six-song set.
Finally, during the encore, the Umphrey’s McGee members joined in for a rendition of “Heart Of Glass.” Listen to the full show below:
