Coming off a phenomenal show with their new bassist Alana Rocklin at New York City’s Best Buy Theater on Friday night, STS9 continued to bring the heat last night, incorporating a cover of Phish’s ‘First Tube’ at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia. There was much speculation at first whether the departure of basist David Murphy would have a negative impact on the band but the general consensus is that they seem to be better than ever channeling their old-school sound. Listen to the cover of Phish’s “First Tube” below.
